CREATURE OF HABIT.

blessed be the bored.

No, really. Because beyond the superficial feelings of disinterest, lack of joy and fulfilment, doesn't boredom mean you have the time to feel that way? And isn't time the greatest resource we have with our finite existence in this world?

Every day, we spend time fulfilling responsibilities and obligations. Then, we're swarmed by a digital barrage of meaningless distractions and bite-sized pieces of irrelevant information that may or may not pop up in some passing conversation.

Another day conveniently forgetting how transient our existence is. Another day spent, before looking towards the promise of a tomorrow that may never come.

But what if we lived a little more honestly, with a little more intention? One does not need a grand adventure filled with twists and turns, but one ought to march to the beat of their own drum lest they live a life on another's terms.

So perhaps we could look inward and live a little more authentically. Building habits that lead to our joy, inspiring others to be in touch with themselves a little more.

Because a little more is all we can work towards, and a little more is all we can hope for in our finite time on this Earth.
